This policy explains how CNINGOT LLC ("Lip Sync AI", "we") handles information when you use https://www.lipsyncai.org and the lip-sync, text-to-speech, and related tools we offer (the "Service").
If a translation of this policy differs from the English version, the English version controls.
1. Who we are
Lip Sync AI is operated by CNINGOT LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY, USA. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information.
- Account. When you sign in with Google or an email one-time code, we receive your email address and a user identifier. We store your email, plan, credit balance, and settings such as your preferred model.
- Signup context. We may store the page or referral URL that brought you to the Service, and a general device type.
- Content you submit. Images, video, audio, and text you upload or enter, and the files the Service generates from them.
- Generation records. The model used, duration, credit cost, status, and links to the input and output files.
- Payments. Stripe processes payments. We receive the plan or credit pack, payment status, and a customer identifier. We do not store your full card number.
- Messages. Emails you send us, and an email address if you submit one on a form.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, browser and device data, approximate location inferred from an IP address, and similar diagnostic data, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
3. How we use information
- Provide the Service, keep it secure, and sign you in.
- Generate lip-synced video, speech, and related output, and show it in your dashboard.
- Meter credits and apply the limits of your plan.
- Take payment, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
- Store files for the retention period of your plan, and let you download or remove generations.
- Send transactional email, such as sign-in codes and billing notices. We may also send product news, which you can opt out of.
- Understand how the Service is used, fix problems, and improve it.
- Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with the law.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in these cases.
- AI providers. Media and text you submit are sent to third-party model providers so they can produce the output you requested.
- Hosting and accounts. Supabase stores account and generation records and handles sign-in. Files are stored in cloud object storage.
- Payments. Stripe processes checkout, renewals, and the customer billing portal.
- Email. Mailgun delivers service email.
- Analytics and ads. In production, the site uses Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Plausible, and Pageview. These tools may receive usage data and use cookies.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if we believe the law requires it, or to investigate abuse, fraud, or a risk to someone's safety or rights.
- A business transfer. Information may move with us if we merge, are acquired, or sell assets.
We do not use your uploads to train a foundation model of our own. Providers process that content to perform the generation you request.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes.
- Essential cookies keep you signed in. The Service needs them.
- Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Plausible, and Pageview) measure traffic.
- Advertising cookies from Google AdSense may be used to deliver and measure ads.
You can block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out. You can limit personalized ads in Google's ad settings.
6. How long we keep information
- Account information is kept while your account is open, and afterward for as long as we need it for security, disputes, tax, and accounting.
- Generated files are kept for the storage period of your plan, described on the pricing page. Removing a generation in the dashboard takes it out of your library. Copies may remain in backups for a limited time.
- Payment records are kept as required for finance and tax.
- If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal information we are not required to keep.
7. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the Service, including access controls and encrypted connections. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can opt out of marketing email with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
If you are in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process information to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running and protecting the Service, and on the basis of consent where the law requires it. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you may request that we disclose, correct, or delete personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising cookies may count as "sharing" under California law. You can limit that sharing in your browser, in Google's ad settings, or by emailing us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We may need to confirm that the request is yours.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws from yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
10. Children
The Service is for adults. You must be at least 18 to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The new version will be posted at https://www.lipsyncai.org/privacy-policy, and we will change the effective date.
